As temperatures drop, more people tend to catch colds. But is cold weather really to blame? Can cold weather actually make you sick?

Aniruddh Sarkar, assistant professor in the Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech and Emory University, breaks down the science behind seasonal illness in this episode of our new video series, Ferst Exchange.

Sarkar explains why all immune systems don’t respond the same way — why flu vaccines might work better for some people, but not others.
