Research Interests

Professor Singh's research focuses on creating synthetic biomaterials-based “living” human immune tissues as organoids or on-chip to recapitulate structural and functional aspects of human immune system. Using mechanical, materials, and biomedical engineering principles, he studies cellular and biophysical crosstalk among tissues with immune cells and their tumors.

Professor Singh's teaching interests encompass core mechanical engineering and biomedical engineering subjects at both undergraduate and graduate levels, including biofluids, Immunoengineering, Advanced Materials, and Cellular Physiology. His instruction emphasizes fundamental principles and their application to engineering problems, fostering analytical and problem-solving skills. Professor Singh actively engages students in the learning process, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical insights to prepare them for advanced study and professional practice.
