Two Coulter BME faculty members were recognized for their contributions at the fifth annual Georgia Tech College of Engineering Faculty Excellence Awards

Scott Hollister, Ph.D., professor and Patsy and Alan Dorris Chair in Pediatric Technology and Associate Chair for Translational Research received the Outstanding Achievement in Entrepreneurship and Innovation award. Hollister’s research uses image-based computational design and 3D biomaterial printing to develop patient specific medical devices and regenerative medicine.  

Kim Paige, Ph.D., Director of Retention and Engagement was honored with the Outstanding Service Award. Paige works to increase student engagement, support leadership development, and design retention strategies that prioritize student success and wellbeing, including the Peer Advising Leaders (PALs) program and Finals Fuel Up.  

Awardees were selected by a committee of academic and research faculty members within the College. Each will receive a $2,000 prize.
