Research Interests
Professor Bhasin’s research program is dedicated to redefining the understanding of complex diseases through the integration of single-cell and spatial genomics with innovative artificial intelligence methodologies. His work focuses on unraveling cellular heterogeneity in cancer and cardio-metabolic diseases, with the goal of identifying previously unrecognized cellular subpopulations, immune dynamics, and metabolic rewiring that drive disease progression and therapeutic resistance. By developing scalable computational frameworks and constructing high-resolution disease atlases, he seeks to bridge molecular discovery with clinical translation—advancing precision diagnostics and next-generation therapeutics to improve patient outcomes.
