When transfer students Luis Lujan and Agustin Munyau arrived at Coulter BME, they were united by a shared goal: using biomedical engineering to improve lives. Through research, innovation, and hands-on learning, they found opportunities to pursue that goal while building lasting connections with mentors and peers. Those connections helped lead them to Hearo, the ear exam device that won the 2026 InVenture Prize.
