Research Interests:

We are a translational cardiac electrophysiology lab. We study life-threatening congenital arrhythmia syndromes, such as the long QT syndrome (LQTS). Utilizing disease- and patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and high-throughput multiparametric electrophysiology recording technologies, we interrogate factors that contribute to the initiation and termination of cardiac arrhythmias. Furthermore, we work toward developing platforms and simulators for the identification of antiarrhythmic therapeutic options and proarrhythmic risk stratification.
