Research activities in our lab focus on the development of devices and systems for diagnostic imaging and image guidance using ultrasound and lipid-shelled imaging and therapeutic agents. By developing novel devices to provide functional imaging within the confines of surgical procedures, emergent situations, and in post-operative follow-up, we work to ensure clean margins, increase biopsy yields, and enable early modification of ineffective treatment regimens.
